Fall is one of my favorite times of year (second after winter!). There are so many wonderful things that come with the changing of the seasons: leaves changing color, pumpkin spice everything, and crisp fall air. The season itself emphasizes warmth and comfort. With that in mind, we at Right Choice Window Coverings, have compiled the following tips for decorating your home for fall. Home, meet fall!
Incorporate Fall Colors
If you love the warmth of fall, there are many earthy hues you can incorporate into your home, including: buttery yellow, amber orange, burgundy red, forest pine, and flannel grey. Add textiles such as blankets, curtains, upholstery, and accent pillows (or pillow covers) in brilliantly saturated shades of orange, gold, dark brown or yellow throughout your home for a cozy feel.
Add Natural Elements
Nature offers a kaleidoscope of fall colors for free! Bring in branches with soft orange/red/green leaves from outside and place them in a hurricane jar, vase, mason jar or tall bottle. Use leaves and branches along with votive candles for simple centerpieces or as accents on a console table or mantel. Small pumpkins, pinecones, and corn husks also make good choices for decorating with natural elements.
